During September, we will collect materials for Love Packages, a non-denominational, non-profit ministry that sends more than a thousand tons of donated Bibles and other Christian literature overseas every year to equip pastors, teachers, missionaries, and evangelists who otherwise have no access to such resources. Please bring your donations IN A BOX and put it in the front foyer.
Gate City members are invited to participate in this service opportunity hosted by Baptist Children’s Home. Their next “Friends of Children” workday, a one-day Saturday mission for the whole family, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 26 in Thomasville. Churches, families, and individuals of all ages can serve through hands-on projects such as landscaping, cleaning, and organizing. A complimentary lunch is included.
