Why Midweek?
At Gate City, our midweek services are a time to come together to open God’s Word and encourage one another to follow Christ faithfully. In a busy week, these gatherings give us the lift we need to stay Biblically grounded and prayerfully focused.
Age Groups
Children - Elevate
Elevate is a fun, mid-week ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. We want to teach the truths of the Bible and for it to settle deep in the hearts and minds of children. Elevate is available for kids Kindergarten through the 5th grade. Elevate runs from 6-7:30pm.
Nursery is also provided for babies through pre-k on Wednesdays.
Students - Ascend
Ascend is a focused, mid-week gathering designed to help students know Jesus Christ and grow in their walk with Him. Through games, worship, biblical teaching, and small groups, we aim to help students understand the truths of Scripture and apply them faithfully in their everyday lives. Ascend is available for students in grades 6–12 during the school year.
Ascend runs from 6:15-7:30pm.
Adult - The Lift
The Lift Adult Bible Study is a focused time of teaching and discussion designed to help adults grow in their understanding of God’s Word and strengthen their walk with Christ. Each week we open Scripture together, seek to apply its truth faithfully to everyday life, and encourage one another through prayer and fellowship. The same study is offered at 10:00 a.m. and again at 6:30 p.m., making it accessible for a variety of schedules throughout the week.
