Sometimes in life we’ll say, “That’s close enough.” In doing so, it’s as if we’re giving “credit” for crossing a line that we haven’t actually reached—we just got close to. This type of thing can happen with matters of faith where people can get very close to Jesus, have real and meaningful encounters but close, in this case, isn’t close enough. How so?
