We use the phrase “going through the motions” often. When we’re doing that, whatever it is that we’re engaging in, we are just checking a box, having no passion or real interest, and doing something that we don’t think is truly valuable. What happens when that becomes descriptive of our worship? It doesn’t have to be this way—you can engage in worship that actually matters, but how can you help make sure that happens?
