We live in culture of “participation trophies,” which is to say that we regularly congratulate and celebrate the mere act of participating in something. One of the greatest blessings God has blessed you with is the ability to be part of a family. It will be of concern what you did with this great blessing. There won’t be “participation trophies” for this. How then can you have and experience family that God would say actually matters?
