MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth to kindergarten. Our group meets each Tuesday from 9:30–11:30am (September – May). Along with meetings (with provided childcare and breakfast/coffee!), we also host playdates and Moms’ Night Outs! We want the women in our group to make new mom friends, find community, and experience God’s love!

Being a mom is hard…it’s really hard, but it is also beautiful. We all need a safe space to just breathe and a place to get some encouragement around the work we do on a day-to-day basis. Gate City MOPS makes it a point to be an open and inclusive group where we share the triumphs and struggles of motherhood and continue to learn to be the best moms we can be!

Each meeting is a little bit different, but there will always be food…food you didn’t have to cut up in small pieces for someone else! Our meetings consist of a relevant speaker, a topical video and discussion, a simple and fun craft, or just plain fun. We cannot wait to meet you! MOMSnext is for moms with kids from Elementary School through High School! When we’re past the diaper years & sleeping through the night… When we’re meeting more emotional needs than physical ones…When we’re caught between our children needing us and not… it’s time for MOMSnext. We want this to be a community where you feel safe, seen, heard & loved during your years of mothering older kids!
